We have been working very well and getting through a lot of work. However it is still a shock to the system to realise that we are just over three weeks away from the Christmas holidays!
It’s hard to pick only a few highlights over the terms since we started in August. One of the highlights has been the ease of getting used to being in a new classroom in a new corridor. Occasionally one of us will end up in the old corridor but most have coped very well with the change.
We enjoyed looking houses in our project work. We have moved on to look at animals and a whole range of associated aspects such as what they like to eat and looking at animal babies.
Most of us have been able to participate in our swimming slot. Those that have managed this have had a great time. Our swimming slot with stop in the second last week of term before the holidays. We have another swimming slot starting after the Easter holidays.
After the February week we will be starting a slot of horse-riding. We will be looking for any parent helpers for this as we have for swimming. So if you are able to help please get in touch. Horse-riding sessions take place on a Thursday and I’ll confirm the time nearer to the starting date.
I’ll end by wishing every one a Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year.
